Fabric-based all-weather-available photo-electro-thermal steam generator with high evaporation rate and salt resistance

Solar-driven steam generation is a practical strategy to harness solar energy for desalination and production of clean water with minimized carbon footprint. However, this suffers from low evaporation rate under weak illumination on cloudy days or at night. Herein, we present fabric-based all-weather-available photo-electrothermal generator (P/ET-SG) capable regulating the surface temperature by coupling effect photo-thermal electro-thermal heating depending light conditions. An unprecedented high 52°C in wet state an 2.61 kg m?2 h?1 were achieved P/ET-SG 1 sun only V input voltage owing uniform heat distribution coupled source. The oneway fluidic design effectively prevented salt precipitation during continuous 24 h was able remove granules surface. Furthermore, demonstrated 2.58 purification concentrated saline dye-contaminated efficiency (>99.9%). This study offers new thoughts generators makes step forward towards fast wastewater.
